Celebrate something timeless - great food! A night of historic recipes benefitting Pontiac's Oak Hill Cemetery.
Join us for a festive evening supporting a good cause and take a culinary trip through the history of some of the many churches in Pontiac. You'll enjoy dishes inspired by cookbooks from the congregations of First Presbyterian, All Saints Episcopal, Central United Methodist (now located in Waterford), Notre Dame Prep and more! The menu will include recipes dating back to 1895, the early 1900's, and some slightly more modern offerings.
Enjoy a taste of history! Tickets for this multi-course meal are $50 per person, and a portion of every ticket will benefit the historic Oak Hill Cemetery. Don't delay, tickets to these events tend to sell out!
more about Dishes Past
Started by Plain and Fancy in 2019, this dinner series is an exploration of history (typically local history) through food. Dishes Past, a play on the passing of dishes around the family table, invites us to taste some of those very dishes, learn more about the people and places that came before, and support organizations working to preserve the past for the enrichment of future generations.
